She was inspired to start the company after receiving flowers after giving birth –
‘the flowers all died so quickly, all I wanted was something relatively low maintenance that wasn’t going to die within a week. I thought, wouldn’t it be great if I could look back on this day and have it celebrated in a meaningful way, with a plant, like as this tiny new baby life grew the plant grew up with it’.
Laura started out making bespoke orders for friends and their special occasions and Queen of Green has sprouted from there.
The excitement is wonderful when a child or adult discovers a lime on their own tree in a pot with their name on it or strawberries that they have nurtured themselves. Whenever they find a ruby ripe fruit or blooming flower bursting into life, they remember who gave them the gift.
There is so much love that goes into a plant and so much thought that goes into choosing to commemorate or celebrate a joyful occasion in someone’s life; a personalised pot plant is a gift for today and tomorrow, one that only grows in beauty with time.” title_highlight_words=”3″ text_margin=”27″ title_break_words=”4″ text_font_size=”17″ text_line_height=”29″][mkdf_single_image enable_image_shadow=”no” image=”129″][/mkdf_elements_holder_item][/mkdf_elements_holder][/vc_column][/vc_row]
